Weston Shore Beach Clean - 23 April 2006

Despite a drizzly start, we were able to collect suprisingly large amounts of rubbish including some large bits of plastic that had washed up on the shore! So thanks for all those taking part...

Here are the first photos from the day - more to come.

Giles, who stayed far longer than he thought. He definitely was the hero of the beach - beat that Charles Atlas!

Weston Shore, Southampton beach clean!

Hello there,

Announcing the new Weston Shore beach clean on Sunday 23 April 2006 starting at around 11am. The beach clean is due to start at the car park at the top of Weston Shore, opposite Canberra Towers, Weston, Southampton.

If you are coming along, please wear sensible footwear and gloves to protect you from the litter. Its lots of fun and afterwards the place looks amazing!

I hope to see lots of people there, and will be posting up photos from the event afterwards.
